I requested to search for my wife's birth registration in Ludhiana, include her name in the the registry and to correct her mother's name, so we could obtain a birth certificate with the proper data and to get it apostilled to be used in Spain. No easy task.

The process took a very long time, although to be fair, part ot the delay was because I did not pressure Allied Legal to keep on the process. On the very positive side, Allied Legal was able to do it, and now we have the proper document. I had tried different ways to do the process, both from India itself (trhough friends and family) and from abroad, and could not get it done until I contacted with Allied Legal . Also on a positive note, they do answer all requests promptly, so communication is always fluent.

I needed my birth certificate Apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs for a marriage in Europe. I'd approached a couple of agencies in Bangalore offering assistance with this prior to getting in touch with Allied Legal, and my experience with them was less than satisfying. With Allied Legal, however, the responses (a special thanks to Mr. Gaurav Gautam) were prompt and accurate. I paid for expedited service, and I received my birth certificate back from Allied Legal with the necessary Apostille in the time-frame promised.

One suggestion from improvement: Please use better quality of envelope when sending original documents back via courier. Envelope should be adequately sized for documents and should be water proof (plastic liminated) as these are original documents to be used for years.

The service could be divided in two parts -

1) Getting the NABC for which I would have rated it 'Very Good' since it was done well inside the promised time.
2) The Apostille on the NABC was late than promised time and needed better communication to customer. At one point, the last one week of it, I was like if these guys are fooling me or what. I understand things don't go per plan all the time but atleast send a email almost every day to inform about the latest, and don't expect customer to call back again and again to check the status.
3) I think the cost of service needs to be brought back in, its too much for me to tell my friends to try out this service. I needed it in hurry so I had to go with you. But not everyone may be in rush and they would like an affordable way. ___________________________________________________________
